Seahawks News: Ty Okada can be one-for-one replacement for Coby Bryant, Seahawks
Happy Friday! It’s the weekend(ish). And yes, another piece on the Seattle Seahawks’ bountiful depth chart. We as fans project, and rightly so, that the few holes that need to be plugged for our beloved squad in 2026 will be filled by players who have at the minimum shown above-average potential. Ty Okada is one […]

The diverse experience of the Seahawks offensive coaching staff
Last week I was mulling over the Seattle Seahawks offense. While the majority of players and coaches stayed, there were some changes that happened: new offensive coordinator, new running back coach, new pass game specialist. Some coaches that stayed got promotions even. While looking through their bios and coaching history, it struck me that this […]

Right wing talk show host Jason Rantz keeps demonstrating he’d rather blatantly spin poll results than honestly interpret them
Two new propaganda pieces that ran in Seattle Red in July of 2026 continue a pattern of deception from the station's top personality. One passes off advocacy issue polling as ballot measure polling and another pretends that a symbolic one-point difference in NPI's congressional polling establishes a Republican lead in WA-03. Right wing talk show host Jason Rantz keeps demonstrating he’d rather blatantly spin poll results than honestly interpret them is a post from NPI's Cascadia Advocate, the journal of the Northwest Progressive Institute. Seattle Seahawks 2026 training camp preview: 3 roster bubble players to watch
We’re just over a week away from the start of Seattle Seahawks training camp. The reigning Super Bowl champions have one of those good problems: a lot of talent but only so many roster spots available. It’s very much like when they won their first Super Bowl 12 years ago, which means camp competitions will […]

Meet the 2026 candidates for Washington State Supreme Court Position #1: Scott Edwards
The longtime constitutional and tax attorney is campaigning for Position #1 on a promise to “take politics out of the courtroom,” but begins the race trailing both of his opponents, NPI's Civic Heartbeat research has found. Meet the 2026 candidates for Washington State Supreme Court Position #1: Scott Edwards is a post from NPI's Cascadia Advocate, the journal of the Northwest Progressive Institute. Jaxon Smith-Njigba makes top 3 in ESPN’s wide receiver ranking, above Puka Nacua
There’s little that Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba didn’t do last year, from setting franchise records to leading the league in receiving yards on his way to Offensive Player of the Year. With the ranking portion of the offseason fully in swing, we’re finally getting to see how the rest of the league thinks […]

Seahawks News: Will Jalen Sundell take the next step for the Seahawks?
With a loaded draft around the corner, and a Seattle Seahawks Front Office and Coaching Staff that are not afraid to find better players as they see fit, two positions on the O-line in particular are under scrutiny, more LG than C. Both Anthony Bradford and Jalen Sundell will be looked at as players who […]

Brian Heywood’s IP26-645 (gutting billions in progressive revenue for education and essential services) is getting certified
645 would repeal the state's new million dollar earners tax, which only 20,000 or so of the wealthiest Washingtonians would begin paying by the end of the decade, while leaving in place the legislative authorization for the investments the revenue is supposed to fund, creating an enormous fiscal mess. Language tucked in the measure could also put at risk existing sources of revenue, too. Brian Heywood’s IP26-645 (gutting billions in progressive revenue for education and essential services) is getting certified is a post from NPI's Cascadia Advocate, the journal of the Northwest Progressive Institute.
