In the FIFA spotlight, Seattle Sounders FC fight for breakthrough year
“I feel it. You guys are a good f**king team. You guys are going to go a long way if you guys stick together,” Sounders head coach Brian Schmetzer told his players after they delivered an absolute blowout at home. Summer camp holds a sacred place in the hearts and minds of many Queer people, especially in the Pacific Northwest. For many in the LGBTQIA+ community, it was the first experience with freedom, a chance to explore identities, and a week to slow down, enjoy nature, do some crafting, and make lifelong memories.
